Ellie Cunningham is famous on TikTok for her open videos in which she shares her life with Crohn's disease and ostomy bag. In a recent mishap with her Barbie butt surgery, Ellie shares how her surgeon accidentally glued her bum cheeks together while removing her butt hole.
Ellie Cunningham has been open about her struggle with her Crohn's disease and recently took to TikTok to share with her followers about an incident where her surgeon ‘accidentally’ glued her butt cheeks together when she was getting her bum hole ‘removed’.
Her TikTok video has gone viral after the dark-haired beauty shared about her fight with Crohn's disease and how having an ostomy bag that collects waste from her body has impacted her quality of life.
Elli does not need to use her back passage anymore and so underwent surgery to get her anus, rectum, and colon removed - but was in for more than she bargained for.
In a clip that has racked up 1.4million views, the babe donned some natural makeup and black top to explain her ‘Barbie butt’ surgery mishap.
Ellie shared: “Going into surgery to get my bum hole removed, knowing my surgeon is amazing and very experienced.
“Wakes up to find he glued my bum cheeks together.”
Well good for Ellie, that she has some cool sense of humor and she was able to find the situation funny.
In the comment section, Ellie clarified what happened and how her cheeks came to be stuck together.
“Clearing things up. My surgeon sewed my bum up & put medical glue on top to keep the stitches safe. But accidentally used too much so stuck my bum together by accident,” she shared along with a laughing emoji.
“I have Crohn's disease & have an ostomy (where I poop) because I’ve had my colon & bum taken out.
“My bag, especially, saved my life. Barbie butt surgery put me in remission for the first time in 8 years! I wouldn't change it for the world. I can live a normal life and eat whatever I want!!
“It is not as bad as everyone thinks! honestly. If it was death or life with a bag. Bag everyday!
After Ellie underwent the Barbie butt surgery, which it is informally called as the plastic doll does not have a bum hole either, Ellie healed up in just three weeks.
“Recovery was quite easy!! Back healthier than ever now,” she said.
Ellie has been open about her struggle with her disease and how her quality has been impacted by the disease.
Many people on social media questioned Ellie on why she would share something so personal and so explained her reasoning.
“If I wanted it kept private I'd have kept it private. It's funny as hell & all my IBD (Inflammatory bowel disease) videos raise awareness & help others in my situation", she noted.
Impressed by her bravery and positivity, many people fled to the comments to praise Ellie - and some even related.
One person praised: “Glad there's so many people being open about the bag.”
Another user added: “You are brave for going through this. Enjoy your day.”
Whilst a third person related: “I have an ostomy too. It's cool to see other people have the same thing. Hope you're doing well.”
Someone else noted: “That glue is wild! Hope you're feeling better though!!!”
Meanwhile, a fifth user cheered: “You're a strong lady.”
