#1 Cause Behind Death Unclear

Reality TV series star Joel Taylor who starred on Discovery channel is reportedly dead at the age of 38. The cause of the death is still unclear. Taylor died one week ago while travelling aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. It is believed Taylor's death is not storm-related.

#2 Laid To Rest In Hometown

The star was laid to rest at First Baptist Church in Elk City, Oklahoma, the Martin-Duggar Funeral Home. Friends and Family gathered around and paid their tribute to the late star. Taylor's family last week confirmed that his body was coming from Puerto Rico to Okholoma and an autopsy has been performed on it.

Though the truth behind Taylor's death has not been revealed to the public it is suspected that the reality star died from drug overdose.

#3 Friends And Family Grieving Taylor's Death

Former co-star and best friend Reed Timmer paid tribute to his friend on Twitter and expressed shock over the sudden departure of his dear friend. Timmer tweeted, "RIP my best friend and storm chasing partner, Joel Taylor. I am shocked and absolutely devastated by the loss of my incredible, caring friend."

#4 Your Smile Will Be Missed Taylor

Both the friends stared together in several seasons of "Storm Chasers" and continued till the show cancelled in 2012 after five seasons. Other friends also took to Twitter to grieve the untimely departure of their friend, Mike Olbinski wrote, "I was lucky enough to meet Joel a few years ago at Reed’s wedding. He was so kind to me and we got to hang out for a bit during those few days. I snapped this photo of him and that just seemed like who he was. A huge smile. RIP Joel Taylor … You will be so missed."

#5 Royal Carribean Has Released An Official Statement

A spokesperson of Royal Carribean also expressed their condolences to the grieving family and released an official statement, "We extend our most sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the 38-year-old male guest from the United States who died while onboard Harmony of the Seas. As is our standard procedure, law enforcement was notified and responded to the ship when it arrived in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on Tuesday, January 23. A member of our Care Team is providing support and assistance to his family."

Taylors family has asked for contributions to set up a scholarship fund in Taylor's memory at the University Of Okholoma.
