Joel Taylor has been laid to rest in his hometown surrounded by friends and family. It is suspected the young star has died from drug overdose. A storm chasing community paid tribute to Taylor and remembered him as a brave person who was always up for an adventure and always had a radiant smile on his face, the group said on their Facebook page, "Our community of Elk City and the Storm Chasing community lost a great guy today. Joel Taylor was truly an inspiration to myself and many who knew him. He was one of the most level-headed chasers on the roads and truly a classy guy outside of chasing. He didn’t chase for the glory, he chased because he had a true passion for storms. In the last few years he would load up with his dad and go chase and not even take a camera. Our hearts are hurting for his mom Tracy and dad Jimmy along with his brother and sister and their children. Please know you are in our prayers. RIP Joel."

#1 Cause Behind Death Unclear
Reality TV series star Joel Taylor who starred on Discovery channel is reportedly dead at the age of 38. The cause of the death is still unclear. Taylor died one week ago while travelling aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. It is believed Taylor's death is not storm-related.
#2 Laid To Rest In Hometown
The star was laid to rest at First Baptist Church in Elk City, Oklahoma, the Martin-Duggar Funeral Home. Friends and Family gathered around and paid their tribute to the late star. Taylor's family last week confirmed that his body was coming from Puerto Rico to Okholoma and an autopsy has been performed on it.
Though the truth behind Taylor's death has not been revealed to the public it is suspected that the reality star died from drug overdose.

#3 Friends And Family Grieving Taylor's Death
Former co-star and best friend Reed Timmer paid tribute to his friend on Twitter and expressed shock over the sudden departure of his dear friend. Timmer tweeted, "RIP my best friend and storm chasing partner, Joel Taylor. I am shocked and absolutely devastated by the loss of my incredible, caring friend."

Both the friends stared together in several seasons of "Storm Chasers" and continued till the show cancelled in 2012 after five seasons. Other friends also took to Twitter to grieve the untimely departure of their friend, Mike Olbinski wrote, "I was lucky enough to meet Joel a few years ago at Reed’s wedding. He was so kind to me and we got to hang out for a bit during those few days. I snapped this photo of him and that just seemed like who he was. A huge smile. RIP Joel Taylor … You will be so missed."

#5 Royal Carribean Has Released An Official Statement
A spokesperson of Royal Carribean also expressed their condolences to the grieving family and released an official statement, "We extend our most sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the 38-year-old male guest from the United States who died while onboard Harmony of the Seas. As is our standard procedure, law enforcement was notified and responded to the ship when it arrived in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on Tuesday, January 23. A member of our Care Team is providing support and assistance to his family."
