Japan certainly has a beautiful culture, but sometimes things can get...weird. Here's what we mean.
#1 Get shrink wrapped with your partner.
How long do you suppose someone can breath inside one of these bags? How long do you think a photographer in the U.S.A. could get away with shrink wrapping Americans?
#2 Japan: home of the baconator.
Why wouldn't you just eat all of that bacon? It is Japan, though we wouldn't be surprised if this guy went ahead and rolled around on a fire to cook himself.
#3 "Scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could that they didn't stop to think if they should." - "Jurassic Park"
Most kids grow up loving dinosaurs, but this parent may have ruined it.
#4 The Japanese invented the 360 degree panoramic photographic.
This is probably the peak of the disposable camera phenomenon.
#5 Breastfeeding isn't just for mothers in Japan.
It makes sense for parents to share responsibilities but this just looks so creepy.
#6 Some Japanese like to sleep with insects.
This is the only way you can tell a friend that you have bed bugs without freaking out.
#7 Take a nap in a lap.
We can't tell if this looks comfortable or if it looks like a neck ache that you wont mind in the morning.
#8 How is it that hygiene can still be so gross?
How did this product come about in the first place? We need to know what kind of market research was going on in that company. Why does this exist?
#9 Giant statues of schoolgirls exist.
In other parts of the world you can confidently say, "Oh no, that's definitely Photoshopped." In Japan though, they leave you guessing.
#10 This is some strange public art.
You know how sometimes you want to write "public" but you write "pubic" instead?
