Speaking of successful singers, Katy Perry might be the most successful vocal artist out on the radio today. Perry got her start as a Christian music singer but transitioned to pop for a more mainstream appeal. Perry ditched her religious singing pretty quickly with her first hit “I Kissed a Girl” back in 2008, and hasn’t looked back. Perry is making millions on her tours and landed the spot in the halftime show of the most recent Super Bowl.
Katy Perry doesn’t really have any pull in the political ranks, but at least she has one friend in politics: Vice President Joe Biden. Biden has taken some creepy photos during his time in office, but somehow he was able to contain himself around Katy Perry; then again, we can’t really see his hands.
