American Idol started one of most bitter celeb feuds of all time between Minaj and Mariah Carey. Mariah once said the process was "like going to work every day in hell with Satan." Minaj at one point said "I'm not ****in' putting up with her ****in' highness over there."

#2 Bruce Willis and Kevin Smith

These two worked together on the movie "Cop Out" and weren't keen to be friends. Smith said Willis made the process soul-crushing for him, and Willis called Smith a "whiner."

#3 amie Foxx and LL Cool J

LL Cool J and Foxx butted heads, and fists, on the set of "Any Given Sunday." LL, who's a method actor, continued to beat up Foxx even after the director called cut. Foxx filed assault charges, but LL explained to the police that it was the character fighting, not him.

#4 Faye Dunaway and Roman Polanski

This feud began on the set of "Chinatown," where Roman plucked a stray hair from Dunaway's face. When she asked about her character's motivation, he replied "just say the f-ing words, your salary is your motivation." Later, Polanski wouldn't let her go to the bathroom, so she threw a cup of urine in his face.

#5 Will Smith and Aunt Viv

Janet Hubert, who played Aunt Viv on the show, thought Smith was an egomaniac. Will insisted Hubert wanted the show to be more like "Aunt Viv of Bel Air." Hubert eventually left the show.

These two worked together way back in 1974, and never got along. Gere once "accidentally" dropped chicken grease on Stallone, so Stallone elbowed Gere in the head. Stallone also reportedly started a rumor about Gere's sexual activities with a gerbil.

Ford is known for being hard to work with, but he was particularly antagonistic towards Hartnett.
