It now appears this cute little space creature is back to Earth to help cheer up hardworking first responders of the Californian wildfires.
According to a recent report by KSAT, the Baby Yoda plushy was sent on his odyssey by a five-year-old boy named Carver, who was packing supplies to send to beleaguered firefighters with his grandmother, Sasha Tinning.
Carver found this adorable tiny creature and threw him into the box as well, along with a handwritten note which read: "Thank you, firefighters. Here is a friend for you, in case you get lonely."
In an interview with KSAT about his thoughtful gesture, Carver stated:
"I have always wanted to help and uplift anyone that’s around me. And this really was a bright spot in a dark time I wanted to share with everyone."
