This little kid has become a hero overnight and his story is going viral on all social media platforms for his bravery and heroic act. Six-year-old Bridger, from Cheyenne, Wyoming, quickly leaped into action and saved his sister's life as they were attacked by a dog. When asked why he did so? The brave kid said, "If someone was going to die, I thought it should be me."
#1 Hailed as a hero
This little kid has been hailed a hero after saving his sister from a dog attack. Six-year-old Bridger, from Cheyenne, Wyoming, leapt into action when the animal approached him and his sister. He put himself in harm's way to ensure his sister didn't get hurt.
The young kid's aunt posted the story of the horrifying encounter of her niece and nephew with the animal and how bravely her nephew fought to save his sister's life.
#2 He took it on himself to protect his sister
She wrote: "My nephew is a hero who saved his little sister from an attacking dog. He, himself, took on the attack so that the dog wouldn't get his sister."
Nikki added that when Bridger was asked why he did what he did, he replied with: "If someone was going to die, I thought it should be me."
#3 "He's finally resting at home. We love our brave boy."
The 6-year old was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.
A separate post from Nikki said: "After getting bit several times on the face and head, he grabbed his sister's hand and ran with her to keep her safe. After receiving 90 stitches (give or take) from a skilled plastic surgeon, he's finally resting at home. We love our brave boy."
#4 She hopes to get a shoutout from marvel star for Bridger
Nikki has asked everyone to share her post as much as possible in the hope that her nephew gets a shout out from a marvel hero. The proud aunt has tagged the likes of Tom Holland, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chris Pratt, Tom Hiddleston, Chadwick Boseman, Vin Diesel, and Chris Evans.
They're all incredibly famous Avengers actors, who would be understandably impressed with Bridger's actions.
Nikki wrote in an update: "His wounds are looking so much better! He's in great spirits, and his awesome personality is intact.
"He can't smile too widely yet, but he was grinning as I read some of your comments to him. I'd also like to mention here that the dog's owners are really great people who have been nothing but kind to Bridger and his family.
"We feel no resentment toward them at all, and - if anything - there's only been an increase of love between our families as a result of this incident."
Nikki also added that while some people are calling her to set up a GoFund Me account to help the kid in his recovery but she has directed them to donate to Mission 22 or Wounded Warrior Project.
Bridger, the 6-year old is keen on geology and Nikki has shared a way for people to send him cool pictures of rocks.
