#1 Are The Schools Safe Anymore?

School is supposed to be a place of learning, a place where a child learns his education and the most important lessons of his life. It's supposed to be a second home. Then why is it that children these days dread going to the school. The place where they are supposed to feel safe, then why are they scared of it the most.

The answer here is simple, bullying. Each one of us is well aware of this term. A condition where the strong ones take advantage of weaker ones. When everyone knows what it is then why do the schools have no control over it. How hard it is for the teachers and the school management to control bullying in their school. Why don't schools take this matter more seriously and implement plans to prevent it?

Tackett's parents claim that their daughter is ok physically but emotionally she is damaged and gets scared of even going to the washroom alone. They plan on filing a lawsuit against the school. Jeremy says, "It's just justice for Lanira. It's going to cost us a lot of money, counselling, family counselling. It's going to be a lot of expenses. This isn't something that's going to e over in a month or two. This is going to e something my family has to deal with probably for a while."

Tackett's parents have reportedly pulled their other children out of the school, claiming they don't feel that their children are safe in that school. The older student has been charged with false imprisonment, aggravated assault and battery in juvenile court.
