There has been some sort of misunderstanding and police is now investigating why this grandmother believes that A-list Hollywood star Jason Momoa is in love with her. In what appears to be a phone romance scam, the 72-year old elderly has been duped into believing that Hollywood hulk loves her.

This 72-year old grandmother from San Antonio, US believes Hollywood star Jason Momoa has fallen in love with her. Unfortunately, rather than this story being believed for truth, police are now investigating why this grandmother believes this.
The grandmother whose identity is protected is of view that Jason Momoa has been chatting with her. As she told local news: "He tells me he loves me, and I tell him I love him back."

The grandmother has been apprently talking to him on the phone and exchange messages with heart emojis and sometimes spends hours talking to him on phone.
She said: "I see him, I see his whole body and everything, yep."
Unfortunately, it seems the poor woman is a victim of phone romance scams.
Grandmother first got introduced to the scammer on Facebook who suggested to her that they shift their conversation to text messages.
That's when he started sending money to her, asking her to then transfer it to another bank account he also had the details for.

Her son said: "She doesn't think she's doing anything wrong.
"Of course, he's telling her everything she wants to hear, she probably hasn't heard in years, and of course he's a celebrity."
Bank records have shown two deposits from the mysterious scammer in her account; one for $30,000 (£23,000) and one for $50,000 (£38,000).

However, the grandmother who does not suffer from any health cognitive disorder is 100% sure that the person she is talking to is Jason Momoa, stating the money is supposedly a stash of cash he's needing to keep away from a settlement for a divorce he's apparently going through.
The money supposedly is to buy a new house for the actor and the woman so they can start a new life together.

She said: "In my heart, I believe it's him. He promised me a future and that's what I'm looking forward to."
Sheriff Javier Salazar who is investigating the incident clearly isn't a romantic, but more importantly knows a criminal when he senses one. He said: "She's being scammed and used."
Salazar was asked by the woman's family to look into the case after they feared she would get in trouble.
He added: "At some point somebody's going to know that $50,000, $80,000 is gone from here and where did it go."

Thankfully the grandmother has not kept any of the transaction money which means she is not in trouble.
However, it may be a little difficult for the grandmother to move on after she realizes that Jason Momoa is not really in love with her.
