#3 Holy Land USA is a failed amusement park in Waterbury, Connecticut.
This Christian-themed fun park was opened during the 50s. During the 80s it was forced to close. #5 The Haʻikū Stairs of Honolulu, Hawaii used to offer a challenge for intrepid adventurers.
During WWII the Hai'kū Stairs were placed so that soldiers could use a radio tower that was placed on a mountaintop. Some people still ventured up the amazing stairs, called the Stairway to Heaven, before a large portion of the stairs were lost due to a particularly strong storm.
