There are two little words that can strike fear into the hearts of every American, no matter what your background or where your worries lie. These two words can immediately trigger nausea, cold sweats, financial anxiety and an involuntary reaction to rationalize the reason for their existence, your brain searching for any reason to get them out of your life.

Those two words? Speeding ticket.

We've all gotten one, they're all because of dumb mistakes, and they're all the legal equivalent of setting your money on fire. Since getting speeding tickets is such a shared, negative experience, you might like to hear how to get out of one -- told by an actual police officer responsible for issuing thousands of them. If you've ever wondered just how to avoid the two most dreaded words in the English language, look no further: We've got the insider scoop for you below.

Anyone knows that when you get a speeding ticket, this is what it feels like.

There's no feeling quite like the one that happens to your body when you see those flashing lights, glance down at your speedometer and realize it's all over.

Tickets wouldn't be so bad if they weren't so damn expensive. You can apologize all you want, but once the police officer takes out his little ticket pad, you're just going to have to fork it over.

Here's Officer Brock's surprising info.

"I clocked a guy on a crotch-rocket bike doing 189 mph," said Brocks in an interview. "Just let him go. Since police departments began to get sued for chasing speeders, around 1995, there's a fine line. You have to determine if you can catch him, if chasing him will cause an accident for him, for you, for the public. There's no way to catch anyone like that."

Did you get that? He literally just admitted that if you want to avoid a speeding ticket, you should speed on a motorcycle. No wonder those guys are always going so fast.

He also shared his favorite places to get speeders...in other words, places you should avoid. Apparently, it's all about the bridges and overpasses.

"If there are a lot of exits, I can miss [a speeder] who can maybe get off at an exit, and then it's too late to catch him."

So if you want to avoid a police encounter and you know you're speeding, just try to exit. If that doesn't work, you definitely don't want to pull any other tricks...lest you have an actual police chase on your hands.

Nobody wants that.

And what about when it comes to talking your way out of a ticket? Sometimes, if you tell the truth, it can help.

"I clocked a woman coming down from New Mexico on Highway 54 at 111 mph," says Bruck. "She had just been stopped for going 90 mph 15 minutes [earlier] in New Mexico She had been crying, and the tears didn't just start...they'd been going on a long time, you can tell. She was on her way to a motel in El Paso to catch her husband who was shacked up with another woman there, cheating. How do you write a ticket for that?"

So there you have it. May you never receive the dreaded pink or yellow slip again.
