You would never anticipate that something as common as lipstick could end your life. This is what nearly happened to a Florida woman, Lily Cleopatra Maurice, who has hit the internet pleading for everyone to STOP using the CoverGirl Queen Lipstick Collection after a terrifying experience she had with the product.

Lily never expected that her lipstick would nearly take her life.
#3 She developed an intense allergic reaction after using the lipstick, and she posted the photos online.
#4 In her Facebook post, Lily says that she,
"purchased lip [sic] last week woke up choking with huge swollen lips. I had to be rushed to the ER! Could've died in my sleep."

"As soon as we learned of this woman's experience, which would certainly not be expected from lipstick use, we reached out to her to learn more about what happened and see how we could help. We are glad to hear she is okay and are awaiting her response. At CoverGirl, the safety of people who use our brand is our top priority. We conduct extensive testing on all our products to ensure they're safe and effective."
