Are Christmas Tree Eyebrows The Latest Beauty Trend?

Posted by Missy aka Tizzy in Fashion On 11th December 2017

Remember back in the day where only movie stars had perfectly sculpted eyebrows? Remember how, as we evolved, we only wanted our brows thinned out, tamed, and maybe arched? Now we are in a time where eyebrows are getting much more attention that they really need. We have suffered through wavy brows, braided brows, feather brows, and glitter brows just to name a few of the strangest eyebrow beauty trends. I am just not sure that we expected Christmas tree brows as we head into this holiday season.

Do you remember how people used to rock simple brows that simply framed their eyes? Things used to be so easy. Now, it is almost impossible to keep up with the ever-changing brow trends, and it seems like they are getting crazier and crazier.

Back in the 80s, we saw big, bushy eyebrows become popular. Then, in the 90s, we had super thin pencil brows that were drawn on. During the 2000s things seemed to settle down quite a bit. But, when Cara Delavigne rose to fame, the full, dark brows made a comeback. People were quick to recreate her look using heavy brow pencils and fillers.

From that moment on, it seemed that artificial eyebrow art was going to be a thing, and more and more bizarre looks were being created.

It is hard to believe, but wavy eyebrows became popular for a brief moment. They were usually paired up with a set of wavy lips. It is hard to believe that people thought this looked good. We just hope that this trend was used just for Instagram purposes and that no one actually left their house looking like this.

The next fun fad was feather brows. It makes us wonder if people are just that bored or just have that much time on their hands that they could experiment with different designs for their eyebrows. Could you even imagine how long it would take to get your eyebrow hairs to lay in different directions in order to achieve these looks?

And what is the deal with rainbow brows? I mean, sure, it is great for Halloween if you are dressing up as a unicorn or Rainbow Dash, but would you go out of your house looking like this? This weird trend also prompted people to rainbow dye their armpit hairs. *Shudders*

It just really makes me think some of these ladies have way too much time on their hands. I mean, if it makes you happy, go for it, but things are a bit too twisted and weird for me. This one just seems overboard. It is funny enough to see people walking around in ugly Christmas sweaters and reindeer antlers, but Christmas tree brow? To each their own, I guess.

But, while we are at it, why stop there? I mean you could potentially make dozens of different holiday-themed brows just like these ornament brows.

Or you can really rock out with these Santa hat brows. Please don't. If some of these ladies spent as much time on their holiday decor as they do on their Christmas brows, there would be some super extreme Christmas light displays going on.

So, what do you think? Would you try out this trend? Personally, I would rather spend my time decorating my home than my face.
