Amber Luke has made headlines for years due to her numerous body alterations, including tattoos on her eyeballs and countless other places.

According to The Daily Mail, she spent more than $250,000 on the tattoos, and her appearance has given her the nickname "Dragon Girl."

Even though we have a pretty progressive society, Amber has had trouble finding a long-term job.

The Australian model stated, "I'm not going to sugar coat it, it has reduced my [job] prospects but that's okay," in an interview with Brisbane radio program Robin, Terry & Kip.

"Because the way I see it is, I don't want to work for a company that's shallow-minded [and can't] look past my image.”

"They won't look at my work ethic, they won't look at my morals or my values or what I have to bring to the table."

She also revealed to the radio crew that people aren't afraid to express their opinions on her appearance in detail.

"Everyone has their own opinions of what beauty is," she said.

"You see these cultures [where people] stretch their necks, their ears, their lips. But at the end of the day, we all are entitled to our opinion and that's okay.”

"But, what gets to me is when someone expresses their opinion to me in public and comes up to me and says, 'Oh, you're ugly', or, 'You've ruined yourself.”

"It's very distressing to know that people have that strong opinion and they can just voice it without any repercussions."

Luke claimed that since she is not harming anybody else with her tattoos or body piercings, it is truly none of their business.

The influencer thinks the hefty price tag for all of her bodily modifications has been "worth it" because she's now "seen how resilient she is" after putting her body through such great stress, despite the uproar and repeated requests from fans imploring her to stop.

When she decided to tattoo her eyeballs, it caused her the most stress.

Amber claimed that the tattooing rendered her "completely incapable" of being self-sufficient and that she even began crying bright blue tears after the procedure.

Amber later inked a tattoo of a woman crying blue tears on her chest to remember the moment.
