A bizarre joke that was shown on Australia's Today show had the audience bursting into laughter. Hosts Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo were left flabbergasted when a young boy told an unscripted joke about vegans jumping from the cliffs.
TV Hosts Are Shocked By Kid's Savage Joke About Dead Vegan And Vegetarian
A child has gained widespread attention on social media for a rather savage joke. The hosts of The Today Show, Karl Stefanovic, Sarah Abo, and Brooke Boney, eagerly waited to hear the youngster deliver the ruthless punchline.

He asked the presenters: "A vegan and a vegetarian are jumping off a cliff to see who will hit the bottom first. Who wins?"
With a momentary pause for added suspense, the kid then said: "Society."
Stefanovic dropped to the ground, Boney covered her mouth in astonishment, and Abo burst into uncontrollable laughter.

The kid appeared quite pleased with himself as he witnessed the presenters laughing hysterically.
His mom chimed in, questioning whether he was allowed to make such a brutally funny remark on national television. Sarah quickly responded, saying, "Well, he just did!"
The clip has gone viral on social media and American commentator Benny Johnson has even labelled it ‘the single greatest moment in television history’.
People were similarly blown away by the short but sweet joke.
One said: "That kid's got more wit and humour than a lot of comedians today."

Another added: "I've just broken a rib, awesome kid. Give that kid a cigar. Respect."
A third wrote: "I'm not even this kid's dad, and he still made me proud."
It seems like the target of the joke also had a field day with it.
"As a vegetarian I must admit I just peed my pants a little. Amazing kid," said one user.
Another quipped: "As a vegetarian I found that joke hilarious."
However, it's understandable that some people were disturbed by the fact that a child was making jokes about people's deaths.

A critic said: "Such a great job of raising your kids, NOT, the joke is funny but this is how morals and compassion die."
A different user wrote: "Society wins when animals are killed?"
According to The Daily Mail, the joke was entirely spontaneous, catching Today show producers off guard.
For a more family-friendly punchline, you can turn your attention to the joke that received an award at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. After a panel of judges selected their top 10 laugh-inducing jokes, over 2,000 individuals voted to determine which joke stood out as the best.
Lorna Rose Treen won with: "I started dating a zookeeper, but it turned out he was a cheetah."
Unsurprisingly, the West Midlands comedian has won other major comedy awards and bills herself as the ‘the greatest thing to come out of Redditch since the fishing tackle’.
