Black TikToker Records White Man Calling Police On Him For No Apparent Reason
This is What Racism Looks Like
The video posted to TikTok by @yft_kel exposes the young man in queue at a store as a white man is standing behind him on the phone. The caption for the video states: "This is what racism in Denton, TX looks like."
The TikToker states he asked the man, "John," to get back so that they could maintain social distance. He tells that John assumed he was too aggressive in his request and decided to call the police for remediation.
@yft_kel Taken down at 40k🤦🏽♂️ NOT made to bully but to bring awareness to racism in Denton Texas #stopracism #Denton #dollargeneral #blm

He Wants The Video Removed
When the police appear the man says that he wants the video to be deleted from the young man's cellphone, as it is an "environment on my privacy."
"Y'all heard it, man; a smart man," the TikToker quips. "He said I'm blue pants and black jeans."
Any time I have called the police (someone injured in the road, suspicious package, witness to assault/battery) I’m scared to death. I hate doing it but have done it when necessary. I can’t imagine feeling comfortable just casually calling the police on something non-urgent.

Main Issue With The Entire Altercation
The principal issue with the entire, although brief, dispute is the privilege associated with the white man thinking it is right to call the police over a simple thing as the TikToker's request to maintain distance, especially in this pandemic.
