Rick Palfi, Ryeley's father, acknowledged his son's death on Wednesday (June 8) in distressing Facebook and Instagram messages.

In a letter to his son's social media followers, Rick stated, "Words can't even begin to explain the pain."

In the classic physique category, which focuses on more traditional body types, the Canadian bodybuilding competitor was expected to be a great future star.

Ryeley has acquired 16,000 YouTube subscribers and 91,000 Instagram followers in his early career.

He was preparing to turn pro, with aspirations to compete in Arnold Schwarzenegger's Mr. Olympia competition.

Ryeley flaunted his blue and yellow motorcycle in footage posted online just hours before the incident.

He allegedly told them that he planned to drive home before going to the gym and that the roads were slick due to the rain.

However, the circumstances surrounding his death are unknown.

Ryeley's grieving family, friends, and bodybuilding admirers have been pouring in their condolences.

His dad wrote: "I can’t believe you are gone. I can’t believe I have to try and move forward with you not in my life.”

"You touched so many lives in your almost 20 years. You had such huge dreams and goals.”

"You are my hero. You will always be my superhero."

He also expressed gratitude to his son's fans for their condolence and support messages.

"This has been the worst day of my life but with all your help it truly does help," Rick continued.

"It makes me smile. Makes me cry. Makes me feel every emotion imaginable.”

"He is truly sorry for the hurt. He only ever wanted to help people and he did. Thank you all for the kind words."
