AURORA, Colo. -- There's a beer on tap that is truly Colorado.
While the "Cannabeer" has been around for a year, it now could hit kegs and liquor store shelves across the country.

Dad and Dudes Breweria have brewed the first cannabis-infused beer, called General Washington's Secret Stash and they hope to have the beer canned in November and off to all 50 states by January.
Mason Hembree is the beer creator and he has waited a year to get the federal green light on his recipe. He's on the way to selling General Washington's Secret Stash in all 50 states. Hembree says the secret is that there's no THC but lots of other cannabinoids, and organic aroma compounds from the plant.
‘Cannabis Sativa and Humulus Lupulus (Hops) both come from the same family, Cannabaceae. The two plants produce similar organic aroma compounds known as terpenes (myrcene, beta-pinene and alpha-humulene). ,Hembree explained.
For beer drinkers that think this latest brew is a fad, customers said the IPA is actually pretty good.
