Little Evan Struckman was excited for Halloween and ready to show his classmates his excellent Tony Stark costume.

Complete with a painted-on goatee and glasses, not only did he look the part, he had exactly the right attitude as he posed for pictures for his mother before hopping onto the bus.

His mother, Jill Stahl Struckman was just as excited to see her young boy happy and made a Facebook post showing off her little one’s costume.

The Caption read, “I hope his school is ready for this guy,"

"He only answers to 'Tony' or. 'Mr. Stark.' He wanted me to drive him to school but only in the Mercedes'. Since I couldn't drive him this very minute, Tony had to be a bus rider."

The picture showed Evan posing as the millionaire tycoon with tinted glasses, a goatee and a grey vest.

Not even 20 minutes into his bus ride, however, Evan’s excitement had burst when children started being cruel to him for making an effort and wanting to be Tony Stark.

The bullying got so bad that Evan immediately wiped off all the paint from his face and dropped the glasses. His mother was called in and asked to take him.

Jill then shared another picture of Evan which was a departure from his excited self. He was pink and teary-eyed.

"Here's what my little Tony Stark looks like now. We both have swollen eyes from crying and are on our way to try to find ice cream."

"Apparently some kids on the bus (who weren't even wearing costumes) told him he looked stupid," "Evan got to school and immediately went to the bathroom and washed his face. When he called he was crying and soooo hurt that he didn't even want to stay for his party."

"When I dropped him off that morning, he ran to the bus SO excited to show off his awesome costume," said Struckman.

"When I arrived to get him, he had washed his face paint off and looked defeated. I was heartbroken."

"He apologized for washing the goatee off and just wanted to leave."

The two then made their way to Starbucks where Evan got a chance to talk about how he felt.

Just to show what a brave superhero Evan really is, he was adamant not to let cruel comments get to him.

"So we went home redid his AWESOME makeup and marched right back into school! He ended up getting that ride he wanted after all. He also learned some valuable lessons today."

It’s clear little Evan has the right role models because

“He never wants to make someone feel the way he did (so he knows he should choose his words wisely" and "Not to let other people's opinions weigh so heavily on him!!"

As much as the cruelty of his fellow bus mates may have brought him down, the internet made up for it twenty-fold with messages pouring in from around the world to show him love and support and most important of all, to share their appreciation for that awesome Tony Stark costume.

"The messages of pure love and support from around the world have shown Evan (and us) that there are far more kind people in this world than there are bullies."
