Their story didn't match up with the evidence. The infant had several bruises on his body and fractures in both arms, and his left eye was swollen shut. The baby's mouth had suffered extensive trauma as well. The police found a broken teething toy in the trash with blood on it. The infant is safe in the custody of the Department of Social Services.
