Bobbie Prestes and her husband have had a good scare after one Uber Eats delivery guy came to their place at 1 in the morning with an order that wasn't technically placed by them. The most creepy part is that the guy was the same with whom Bobbie and her husband had a pleasant conversation a few months back during one of the deliveries. Now Bobbie is sure something is fishy because the guy came with a Taco Bell order whereas no Taco Bell restaurant operates in their area past midnight.
Creeped Out Woman Installs Security Cameras After Previous Uber Eats Driver Shows Up To Her Home In Middle Of The Night
Bobbie Preste, 25, a popular TikTok content creator shares a disturbing incident that forced her and her husband to install security cameras in their home.
Bobbie shared the personal story on her TikTok account where she shared the details of a creepy encounter with an Uber Eats delivery driver at 1 AM.
Bobbie shares that back in August she and her husband had a friendly encounter with their Uber Eats delivery guy. Usually, the couple opts for no contact option but coincidently that day the couple was out on the porch when their delivery guy arrived.
And now earlier this week, the same delivery driver showed up to Bobbie’s house with a bag of Taco Bell—but the couple hadn’t ordered any food.
Bobbie says that she was asleep at the time and her husband was outside the house drinking his coffee. The delivery guy came and walked over to her husband and said, “Hi, do you remember me?” He then proceeded to comment that the couple’s pool was closed, even though that area on the property is fenced off and concealed from view.
Bobbie woke up from the guy's voice. After the weird encounter, her husband comes inside confused asking her if he had ordered food? When she responds no, the husband then asks her if she remembers the delivery guy who came with their food back in August?
Recalling their previous encounter, Bobbie shares that it was pretty normal. They exchanged pleasantries and nothing was creepy or weird: “He basically was just saying that he really loved our house, and he liked the area that we were in, and he said that he grew up around here. And then he was saying that he went to the local elementary school, which we happen to live pretty close to.”
A spokesperson of Uber Eats said that the delivery was a mistake as it was intended for another customer. However, she claims there are no Taco Bell restaurants that deliver past midnight in her area.
As the video went viral on social media, Bobbie shared two follow up to her TikTok video.
After this disturbing encounter, Bobbie and her husband are taking no risk now and the couple has bought security cameras, including a Ring camera.
Not only this but Bobbie also assured the people on TikTok that her house already has an alarm system. After the video's crazy viral status, Uber Eats reached out to Bobbie and she is still awaiting a personal statement from the company.
