Going through a haunted house can be a terrifying experience, but working as one of the monsters in the house can be scary for totally different reasons. Who knows how frightened people are going to react or what someone might do after they’ve had a few drinks. There is danger lurking around every corner.
The people share the craziest thing they’ve experienced while working at a haunted house. Beware, read at your own risk.
#1 You can rest assured that they make fun of you after you've left.
#2 It can be a strange experience if you don't get out of character before you leave.
#3 Haunted house staff are like family.
#4 You have to be able to deal with rude people.
#5 It's a good way to face your own fears.
#6 Some people enjoy being able to express their sadistic urges.
#7 For the Halloween lover it's a dream job.
#8 There is a lot of hard work that goes into making a haunt.
#9 There are nightmare customers just like any other job.
#10 Why do people find it acceptable to assault the employees at these attractions? Grow up and take the jump scare like an adult.
#11 You never know how people are going to react.
#12 It's oddly therapeutic on some levels.
#13 They definitely make fun of you. It's the best part of the job.
#14 It's kinda funny that some haunters are too scared to actually visit a haunt.
#15 Be careful, there might be a real psychopath lurking.

#21 Please make sure you treat the actors as courteous as possible under the circumstances. Most of them work for free.
