When the holiday season comes around everyone gets into a festive mood. Everywhere you turn you can’t help but notice decorations, festive foods, clothing and just about everything you can imagine done up in Christmas colors. Some people are very good at doing these things and others are not as good.
The ones that aren’t very good at those types of things look to others for inspiration. Once they see something that they really like they get to work in trying to recreate it. Sometimes the results can turn out very nice but just as in anything else in life, sometimes they turn out pretty bad. Those are the times you want to grab the camera and start taking some photos to share with friends.
The fails are good to give everyone a good laugh. Even the creators of these catastrophic fails have to find some humor it what came out of their hard work. If they didn’t find the humor in them they wouldn’t take the photos to share.
It’s not just the amateurs that make mistakes though. You’ll see a few instances here of a product that is actually out on the market with spelling errors. Anyone can create a holiday fail by mistake and we love those that take the photos to share with the world!
#1. This reindeer has definitely seen better days. Sometimes things are much harder to do than they look.
#2. This looks like a creepy Santa. It's a cupcake that might scare the kids.
#3. What was supposed to be very festive turned out to be anything but. Someone gave this creepy Santa a shave.
#4. Turn it upside down and make of it what you wish!
#5. Reindeer lollipops are a great way to make a table look more attractive. Unless they come out like this!
#6. The picture used for inspiration looked so beautiful. The end result, however, was not.
#7. It doesn't matter what they look like when they come out of the oven. They're still cookies so grab one!
#8. It looked so good at the restaurant. Is it got to be easy to recreate right? Not!
#9. It's always a smart move to look at what you want to wear very carefully. It saves embarrassment later on.
#10. The reindeer made with a hand looked easy to make. The end result shows it's a bit harder than it looks.
#11. The beautiful ornament made of Christmas candy is not as easy to make as it looks.
#12. She was so proud of her first effort. Her second effort didn't come out as well, though. She looks baffled as to what happened.
#13. Sometimes things don't turn out exactly as we hope. You have to admire the effort, though.
#14. Sometimes it's a lot easier to just buy them at the store. Doing it yourself doesn't always have great results.
#15. I'll bet you didn't know that they even made ornaments for those that can't spell!
#16. Working with young talent is not always everything it's cracked up to be!
#17. Everyone has their own areas of expertise. This person's obviously isn't making cookies.
#18. The inspiration looks awesome. The end result is not so much. It looks like it's growing antennas!
#19. The top picture is of the winning team in this ginger bread man karate fight!
#20. It says that it makes five festive houses. It doesn't say anything about them looking anything like the photo on the box though!
#21. It looks so delicious in the photos. Sometimes quantity is better than quality. OK, maybe not.
#22. The original photo doesn't look that good, to begin with, and it's apparently hard to recreate.
#23. Nobody ever said that spelling was an important part of the Christmas season.
#24. The cat said no more free rides and he meant what he said. Let that be a lesson to other dolls!
#25. It was a good photo to use for inspiration but the end result looked a little different. You have to give an A for effort though!
#26. The directions look pretty easy to follow. Execution is an important factor though and it's apparent here that the execution was a bit off.
#27. Don't they look delicious? The originals, not the recreation. It's hard to tell exactly what went wrong there but it was major.
#28. Everyone loves the yule log whether it is in cake form or ice cream. However, the making of one should be left to the professionals!
#29. Another fruit Christmas tree failure. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what went wrong here. Maybe the artist was blind?
#30. Oh what could have been. The ones made by someone that knows what they are doing looks awesome. The recreation however fell a bit short.
