Dirt Bike Rider Gets Brutally Speared Through The Leg By A Stick And Rips It Out

#1 If you thought that wearing protective gear while dirt bike riding means you are safe, you couldn't be more wrong apparently.

As Dan and his friends found out recently, nature wins! It started out simple enough. A group of guys got together to go dirt bike riding in the woods in Australia.

#2 They had no idea what they were about to witness.

Dan speeds off at the head of the pack, flying through the woods. He took a path through a gap that was between two parts of a downed tree. He was sure he had enough room to get through.

#3 Nature strikes hard.

As it turns out, he didn't have enough room. He hit the tree while passing through so he stops to see why his leg is now hurting. He is completely shocked to see a freaking huge piece of wood sticking out of his leg.

#4 He didn't panic.

Dan actually bent down and tried to jerk the wood out of his leg but it was firmly embedded into his flesh.

#5 What can they do?

Dan's friends start gathering around at this point. They start trying to figure out what to do about Dan's leg because they are 3 hours away from anywhere they could get help.

#6 They start to pull.

The guys think it's a pretty shallow wound so they start trying to pull the stick out of Dan's leg.

#7 Here comes the blood.

They think that since Dan isn't screaming in pain that it can't be that deep. Everyone is surprised when they pull out the stick and it is absolutely covered in blood.

#8 Man that was deep.

They discover that the stick was so far into Dan's leg that it almost came out of the other side. That's pretty freaking deep. Dan is still taking it like a champ even though his leg is bleeding like crazy at this point.

#9 Just look at it.

Take a look at all the blood that's pouring out of the wound. It has covered his leg and even splattered onto the bike when the stick was pulled out. They were 3 hours away from their base camp so they had to ride all the way back there in order to get Dan proper medical treatment.

#10 I bet his grandkids will love this story.

At least Dan will have an awesome scar and a hell of a story to tell once he is all healed up. Best of luck to you in the future sir.
