Ever since Sahar Tabar's story went viral, there have been some serious concerns about her overall health. People are worried that Tabar may have anorexia and body dysmorphia.

Just in case this story is new to you, Tabar is an Iranian teenager who had 50 cosmetic procedures in an attempt to transform herself into her idol, Angelina Jolie. Her transformation was shocking, to say the least, and left everyone wondering if her final results also involve makeup and prosthetics.

The young lady has also admitted that she lost 80 pounds in an attempt to also have a small frame like Jolie. Jolie is incredibly thin and there have been rumors that she battles anorexia herself. One source has reported that the young girl only weighs 40 pounds which is the weight of a small child.

People are worried that the young girl could be anorexic and suffer from body dysmorphia which makes you wonder why anyone would operate on someone like her. Dr. Michael Salzhauer, a celebrity plastic surgeon, said, "This woman needs hospitalization, a feeding tube to increase protein intake and major intensive psychiatric therapy or she may die of starvation."

Body dysmorphia is a mental condition where the person believes that their body is seriously flawed and will do just about anything to fix it. Most of the time these flaws are imagined or highly exaggerated in the person's mind and will cause them to think about these flaws all of the time.

It is believed that Michael Jackson suffered from body dysmorphia. He went through many radical changes in his appearance over his lifetime to the point that he was barely recognizable. It usually sets in during puberty and is also associated with anxiety, depression, and sometimes suicide. It is also comparable to obsessive-compulsive disorder.

This condition affects less than 3% of the world's population but often goes undiagnosed. As far as Sahar and her situation go, people are questioning why any doctor would perform such drastic surgeries on such a young girl. They are up in arms raging about how these so-called doctors basically ruined this young lady saying that she needed therapy, not multiple surgeries.

One doctor says, "The lips look overfilled with filler and she has also likely had a ‘lip lift’ procedure to turn her lip up and show more vermillion, which is the red part of the lip." He says the rest of her look is likely from anorexia. He states that she is clearly protein deficient which is what causes the hollowing out around her eyes and cheeks giving her a skeletal look.

It really makes you wonder if plastic surgeons ever say "no" to a patient. What happened to "Do no harm" in a situation like hers? These kinds of surgeons have the right, legally, to deny patients if they believe that the surgery is not in the patient's best interest. But, at the same time, this also leaves a lot of leeways for the surgeon to be able to decide what is best for the patient.

Her whole situation really raises a lot of ethical questions as far as if her right or need for counseling prior to her procedures was met. That is imperative for someone wanting to undergo such a drastic and unrealistic change. At the moment, it is not clear if she received any therapy or counseling. The saddest part about all of this is how stunningly beautiful and healthy she looked before having surgery.
