After hiding under a blanket from the police in Maine, a man who was trying to elude them has drawn taunts from the public. Philip Dulude was discovered seated in a chair outside a hotel he had earlier been evicted from with a white sheet artfully thrown over him, according to police, in what might be the world's worst hiding place.

Belfast, Maine police arrested a drunk man for trespassing. Also, if Belfast Police Department in Maine hadn't intervened, he would have gotten away with it.
According to authorities, a drunken guy from Maine tried to hide from officers under a blanket before being apprehended for trespassing early on Monday.
Around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Belfast police responded to a report of a disturbance brought on by Philip Dulude, a drunk man, according to the Belfast Police Department.
Dulude was removed by police from the property, and they warned him not to go back or they would arrest him.
Around 12:40 a.m., when officers were doing a sweep of the parking lot, they allegedly discovered a person hiding in a chair with a blanket covering them.
Authorities claim that when the blanket was removed, they discovered Dulude hiding there.
"Here at Belfast Police Department, we have seen some crafty ways of hiding from the police," the department wrote on Facebook. "This unfortunately is not one of them."
Facebook users made fun of Dulude's poor cover.
"Wait is this an episode of Scooby-Doo," one user wrote.
Another replied: "He almost got away with it!"
Dulude was taken into custody for breaking his bail conditions and criminal trespass.
