Entitled Karen Demands Teenager Give Up Business Class Seat On Plane

Getting upgraded to business class is a treat and when you're given the opportunity, you hold on to it with both hands. That's just what OP did making sure that a Karen would not be able to take advantage of him.

OP was thirteen when he encountered this entitled woman when he was taking a short flight to visit his relatives.

This particular time OP was flying alone since his parents were working.

OP added that unaccompanied minors would be often upgraded to first class to be closer to the flight attendant if a seat was available.

OP had been sitting next to a woman with a toddler in economy with her husband in a row across from them when they were approached by a flight attendant.

She offered OP a first-class seat and continued to offer the other one to the woman next to him not knowing that her husband was sitting in the next row.

The woman jumped at the chance and asked if her husband could have one as well. The flight attendant denied the request saying that there wasn't more space to accommodate them.

The entitled Karen not missing a beat demanded the one that OP had been offered.

Like most Karens do, she pulled the mom card, saying she needed the seat more than OP did.

The flight attendant asked for the woman to settle down. Unsurprisingly, the Karen started screaming and demanding that the seats be provided to them.

The flight attendant directed OP to follow her. When OP got up, the woman pushed him back down into his seat.

OP, being a child was scared by the situation and had not said a word. OP jumped out of the sat and made it past the woman when she swiped at OP again.

OP grabbed the arm that was holding on to his sweater and threw it off him.

This further enraged the woman who continued to scream at OP and the attendant. OP simply made his way to first class. She was later deplaned for this behavior.

OP had a good laugh about the situation later on.

Commenters were shocked at how a Karen would stoop to attacking a child in front of several witnesses.

They also called out the hypocrisy of her behavior.

For most, it was the entitlement that really stood out to them.

One commenter hoped that the Karen got her just desserts.

OP replied stating that when he asked about it, he was told that the Karen may have been banned from the airline.
