#2 The first eyeball jewelry implantation surgery was done by Dr. Emil Chynn in New York a few years ago

In this new bizarre new trend, a surgeon implants pieces of jewelry right into your eyeballs. The person behind this trend is also a doctor named Dr. Emil Chynn who performed the first eyeball jewelry implantation surgery in New York a few years ago.

Dr. Emil Chynn wanted a perfect candidate for this surgery and a woman named Lucy Luckayanko came forward.

The much-awaited surgery was performed on Park Avenue and the office had floor-to-ceiling glass windows which allowed passersby to watch.

The surgery was made public so that more people would see and catch on the trend.

#3 The procedure of this surgery lasted only for five inutes

The process of the surgery was not so complicated. Dr. Chynn used small scissors to cut a slit in the thin membrane covering the white of the eye.

He then slipped a small platinum heart into the slit. The slit was so tiny that it didn't require stitches. The duration of the surgery was only five minutes, Lucy's eye was healed in three days.

#4 You can always get rid of this piercing whenever you are bored with it

Another person named Skyler also got interested. His surgery also took five minutes like Lucy's and in a matter of three days the eye was healed.

Dr. Chynn gave Skyler regular anesthesia and then the surface of the eyeball was sterilized. He then lined a crosshair up to a part of the eyeball. The doctor then made a 3mm wide incision on the spot and then a platinum star was placed inside Skyler's eye.

The best part of this weird trend is that you can also get rid of it whenever you are bored, all it will require is a simple surgery.

The surgeon says the procedure is safe unlike the American Academy of Ophthalmology who caution that complications could include blindness or bleeding.
