It is not for the faint of heart to try powerlifting. It also doesn't appear to be suitable for the faint of stomach. A female powerlifter's ordeal in the competition as she struggled with weight is going viral, and it's all because she wants it to. Blondebeautybri, an Instagram user, posted a video of herself doing her hardest to lift in a competition last week.
Female Weightlifter Vomits During Deadlift Competition, Carries It Off Like A Pro
An Instagram user by the name of Blondebeautybri shared a video of performing her best to lift in a competition.
However, before she can get the weights up, she vomits all over the judging panel just feet in front of her, possibly owing to nervousness or a bad lunchtime meal. But, to her credit, she persevered, and she has stated on social media that she is proud of what transpired, even though others would have given up after the humiliating experience.
BlondeBeautyBri, on the other hand, wasn't embarrassed by the blunder: "I'm proud of myself for not giving up as most lifters would!" she wrote on Instagram.
High or maximum heart rate, stomach compression while bending over and a build-up of pressure on the body when lifting large weights are all causes of exercise-induced nausea and vomiting.
Bri has not only shared the video of her weightlifting puke, but she has also shared memes created by others.
"For people who don't understand powerlifting and the passion we as powerlifters train long and hard, beat our bodies up for 1 day on the platform and a total of 9 lifts you better believe after I covered the judge in vomit there was no way I wasn't going to get my lift," she wrote on Instagram.
"So to any lifters who have ever done any of the powerlifting trifectas on the platform (pee, puke, or poop💩) keep on lifting because you trained way too hard for any of that to stop you!!"
