Florida Woman Gets Hailed As Hero After Beating The Crap Out Of A Racist Woman

Nobody likes racists and so it’s always a good thing when somebody stands up to them and teaches them a lesson. Case in point, one badass woman from Florida recently had enough after hearing a racist white woman’s scathing remarks against Haitians at a hotel lobby.Footage has gone viral of Florida resident Colleen Dagg fighting another woman in a hotel lobby for making racist remarks about Haitians.

#2 She is being called a hero for beating the crap out of a racist white woman after the fight was recorded and posted to social media.

#3 The footage was first shared online by a guy who calls himself ‘Austin’.

However, the clip was deleted later on although it still got re-uploaded by different users on both YouTube and Facebook.

#4 ‘Austin’ originally wrote:

Ok, so the lady in the blue sundress said something super racist about how “you know these Haitians” and sis in the gray was not having it. She then lied to the police and said the other girl started it when everything was caught on video.”

#5 Colleen Dagg, 23, said she witnessed Cortts berating a Haitian security guard with racial epithets, and attempted to defuse the situation.

#6 But in the process, Dagg angered Cortts, and the verbal altercation turned physical when Cortts attacked her, authorities say.

Dagg was not charged with a crime and also declined to pursue battery charges.

#7 The video then shows the woman getting in Dagg's face and hitting her.

That's when Colleen pops off, until hotel staff, and eventually, the police, intervene.

#8 Summer Cortts, 39, has been charged with disorderly conduct and inciting an affray, a legal term that basically means “fighting.”

#9 Unprovoked violence is bad.

But provoked violence, especially as a response to racism, seems to be A-OKAY with the internet.

#10 She has since posted a statement on Instagram which says:

“This is a young country, built on racism. Black people have been disenfranchised for over 250 years. The faster white people accept and validate the truth, the closer we’ll come to a place of peace and understanding.

“Fighting racism is dependent upon using my white privilege in the video. The woman in the blue dress tried to use her white privilege on me, the fact that I’m white too must have slipped her mind. If you see it, say something.

“It’s really that simple. Disclaimer; some people can’t handle the truth. Stay ready.”

#11 And no one is here for the woman in the blue dress claiming to be the victim in the video, after clearly provoking the fight.

She also claims to be "three months pregnant" and says Colleen is "going to jail." Twitter isn't buying it.

#12 Colleen is getting plenty of positive support from well wishers on the internet.

#13 Another remarked:

You give me hope that there are good white American people out there. You are my #womancrusheveryday. Thank you and God bless you. I pray for people like you. You are a true testimony that he does answer prayers.
