You might not think so, but toilets can be a scary place. A man named Ross Kirwan from New South Wales tried to flush a little live rat down the toilet. But the rat had other plans.

Ross flushes the toilet, and the water goes all the way down. But then you see the rat emerge out of the water, trying to prevent it from getting flushed down. The rat pauses for a moment, perhaps trying to compose itself after being almost flushed down the toilet, and then proceeds to jump towards the edge of the toilet bowl.

It jumps and then falls back into the water. Then after a few more tries, the little wet rat ends up on the edge of the toilet seat. It scurries down the side of the toilet and onto the floor, disappearing behind the toilet.
When the rat manages to get itself out of the toilet bowl and onto the toilet seat, you can hear the person in the background laughing in amazement, saying, ‘Jesus Christ.'

It's unclear why the person decided to flush the live rat down the toilet, or where it came from.
The clip is only 12 seconds long, but it definitely gives a bit of an uneasy feeling when watching it.
Clearly this little rat was supposed to keep on living, and he wasn't about to go down without a fight.
