Gran-Of-17 Gets Married To 24-Year-Old Man, Says They Are Ready To Welcome Child Together
Cheryl, 61, is a proud grandmother of 17 and is ready to expand her family and bring a child into this world with her 24-year-old husband.
Cheryl got married to her husband Quran McCain in 2021 after first meeting him at a Dairy Queen shop in Rome, Georgia, in 2012, when he was working for Cheryl's son, Chris.
Quran was only 15 at that time. The couple met again in 2020 and immediately hit it off. They started dating before Quran proposed to her.
Their wedding was live-streamed to more than 20,000 people and now the couple is looking forward to the next step in life as they want to bring a child into this world.

The grandmother commented: "He’s always wanted children and I want to be the mother to his child. Of course, because of my age we'll have to get a surrogate or adopt which we're looking into."
Cheryl's own children are looking forward to having a baby in the family and are even committed to helping raise the child. Meanwhile, her grandchildren have accepted Quran into their lives by dubbing him 'pawpaw'.
However, not everyone is convinced with this couple's love story and there have been lots of discussions regarding their age gap on TikTok, where Cheryl's husband has more than 2 million followers on the couple's page where they share their daily life videos.
Discussing their plans to welcome a new life into the world, Cheryl told Quran's followers the couple are 'going to have a baby this year', with Quran adding: "It's coming, 2022".
The couple are 'still looking' for the best way to have their baby, but they are reported to have already started pram shopping.
TikTok has mixed responses over their videos, but the 24-year-old does not really worry about what the world thinks and insists that he and Cheryl are serious about one another as he described them as a 'team'.
"She is my wife. Till death do us part, we ain't going nowhere. Forever," he added, before plating a kiss on Cheryl's lips.
Speaking to News 24 following their wedding last year, Cheryl said she has never had a stronger connection with another man.
"We are so in sync, it's like I feel what he feels and vice versa," she said. "He is my soulmate, he genuinely makes me happy, and I make him happy. He is in tune with his emotions, which makes us so much closer, and it's what I love most about him. I said yes [to his proposal] because I felt it in my heart that there was an unbreakable connection."
Though some people are critical of the relationship, other viewers have showed their support for Cheryl and Quran and said the pair would be 'good parents'.
