Guy Tries Getting Selfie With Crocodile And Immediately Regrets His Decision

Crocodiles and alligators are basically living dinosaurs. Seriously, the enormous reptiles are millions of years old, and there are fossils of identical monsters chilling in some sediment all over this wonderful planet we call Earth.

Just look at the largest ever recorded crocodile, Lolong, and tell me that you can't see this 20-foot-long beauty in the Jurassic World sequel?

And because crocodiles are so friggin' cool, if you see one in person, you naturally want to snap a photo with it.

But sometimes, it's not the best idea to snap a selfie when there's a million-year-old killing machine a few feet away from you.

Something 27-year-old Danish backpacker Johnny Bonde learned the hard way when he and his girlfriend Kirsty Jacobs visited Australia.

They had spent about a year in Aussie land without any major problems, until he just had to go and try for a selfie with a croc.

Initially he tried snapping the photo from a safe distance, but then slipped and fell right on top of the beast. Who didn't like that one bit.

"He got my arm and shook me ... It was the result of me being stupid. If somebody body slammed me at night, I would be angry too." Bonde said in an interview with Perth Now.

Bonde managed to break free, but then complained to his girlfriend that his arm felt "a bit weird", that's when he noticed the blood.
