Thankfully, no one suffered any serious injuries.

"(Sasha) saved everybody," Chai said. "Because if it wasn’t for her, I don’t think that any of us in this complex would have known anything."

"It meant a lot. I owe her everything. If it wasn’t for her, I would have still been in bed, and things could have taken a worse turn," she said.

According to the Sacramento Bee.

Sasha is staying with another family member while Chaichanhda, who is staying with her aunt, looks for a new place to live with her three young children.

Her sister set up GoFundMe page to help the family.

Her sister, Christine White, decided to set up a GoFundMe page in order to help the family in their current situation. Chai said, "She misses the kids and sleeping in their beds. I take the kids over there so Sasha doesn’t cry all day. It’s hard to answer the questions, 'Where are we going to live?’ and 'Are we going to be homeless?’ when I’m trying to figure that out as well, so right now we’re leaning on each other."
