It is no news and not surprising when we hear about random incidents of rude entitled customers who treat themselves superior and usually believe that they need to be served in accordance with their demand.

Well, this person tried to do the same and once the person at the front desk have had enough of her bullying, they decided to give her a spoon of her own medicine, and man this is the revenge we live for.

OP takes to the Reddit platform to share the time, a few years back when they worked at a small, independent hotel, that used to be a Days Inn five years prior.

OP points out that the hotel didn't take third-party reservations and almost 50% of bookings were done on walk-ins.

OP continues that one night when the hotel had an almost full booking, a woman with huge luggage comes and plops a piece of paper on the front desk.

As if her entrance wasn't rude enough, the lady then proceeds to tell the front desk that she paid a hefty amount to book a room on the fourth floor.

Well, here comes the plot twist!

The hotel only has three floors and there is no fourth floor. OP shares that they tried all the means to let the lady understand politely that they don't have the fourth floor in the hotel.

However, the rude lady continues to insist that she stayed at the fourth floor last year and continues with her screaming. At this point, the OP has had enough and decides to take her to the fourth floor along with her luggage.

Guess what happens when they reach the fourth floor?

Once they got there, the OP said, "And here is the fourth floor, I hope it is as nice as the last time you stayed here."

The woman gets what she wants and the OP leaves her at her destination to get back at the front desk.

This is how the Internet responded

The majority of people on Reddit lauded OP for giving a befitting response to the mean customer. Few sympathized with her too because she fell for the scam by third parties.

Impressed by the OP's response, one person wrote:  "You took the issue to the very top."

Another added: "You followed all the proper steps to address her problem."

One sarcastically wrote: "In terms of service, for this hotel, the sky is the limit."

Few people understood how frustrating it can be when one gets scammed: "I want to feel bad for her as someone who has almost been vicitmized by these 3rd party retailers selling rooms that dont exist.

Thankfully I figured it out before booking but I couldnt imagine the feeling of showing up thinking you have a room and don't.

Still no excuse for her behavior."
