We are living through the times of global crises that have spread fear and panic in the world. In search of answers, people are now desperate to believe any conspiracy theory that comes to their way. One such bizarre conspiracy theory that is creating havoc in the world is linking 5G phone masts to the deadly virus.

With panic and chaos everywhere, humans are desperate to search answers against this unknown virus which is claiming human lives in masses. #3 With the help of Internet, these conspiracy theories are reaching to masses and leading to more fear and panic
#4 The world is conjuring crazy conspiracy theories to reason with this equally unreasonable virus
#5 There is one conspiracy theory that is creating a big mess globally
The bizarre conspiracy began in the U.K. and it related 5G phone masts to the deadly virus.
#6 5G is the future of smartphones and have currently pivoted out in countries like China and others
#7 The theory is that the rollout of 5G internet is either causing or accelerating the spread of the virus.
#8 No one knows the origin of this bizarre theory but it started off in March and since the start of April it has gained heat in various countries.
#9 A post on social media suggested that 5G came from Wuhan - where the virus originated.
#10 The post was first published on an anti-5G Facebook group and was subsequently marked by Facebook as misinformation

#11 To make matters worse
A video posted at a health conference in the US claims that Africa is not affected by the virus much because it is not a 5G region. There is absolutely no evidence that 5G, or any other forms of radio waves, are harmful to humans.

#12 Around twenty phone masts have been vandalized or burnt in the U.K. thanks to these theories.
Following these insane acts, a number of 5G engineers have been harassed on the streets of Britain by people who believe these theories. Mobile UK, who represent a lot of the U.K.'s top networks, spoke out about this unnecessary behavior.
Speaking to The Sun, they said, “During this challenging situation, it is concerning that certain groups are using the pandemic to spread false rumors and theories about the safety of 5G technologies. More worryingly some people are also abusing our key workers and making threats to damage infrastructure under the pretense of claims about 5G.”
“This is not acceptable and only impacts our ability as an industry to maintain the resilience and operational capacity of the networks to support mass home working and critical connectivity to the emergency services, vulnerable consumers and hospitals,” they went on to say.
“The theories are baseless and are not grounded in accepted scientific theory.”
