Just when you think you have seen it all in life, you are timely proven wrong. Meet this Kentucky lady who thought it was a very smart move to cut her protective mask from the middle to make it easier to breathe. Like we didn't think of it!

The video that was originally uploaded on Tik Tok immediately went viral. The short clip shows a gas station clerk reacting with disbelief as the woman approaches with her mouth and nose exposed.

The clerk with absurdity evident on his face, asks the woman, “Where did you get that mask from?”

“Well, since we have to wear them and it makes it hard to breathe, this makes it a lot easier to breathe,” she answers.

The clerk ironically replies: "Cutting it? Yeah, I’ll do that too, thanks for the advice."

Kentucky governor Andy Beshear has told the residents to wear masks before stepping out of homes. Needless to say, the guidelines should not have included whether the masks should hole in them or not. We thought that part of the information was pretty obvious. No?
