However, plastic surgery is not just about wanting to look better. In fact, plastic surgery also includes reconstructive surgery and burn treatment, which means that such operations are actually done so that some people could lead a normal life.

#1 Leg lengthening surgery
If you wanted to be taller, you can have this operation. However, this will be extremely painful because your bones will basically be broken. Likewise, your legs will get inserted with metal rods. So, would you have this surgery or would you just wear tall shoes?
#2 Eyelash transplant
False eyelashes can enhance your eyes, but there is always a risk. After wearing them excessively, people can ruin their natural eyelashes. In an effort to correct the problem, people are undergoing eyelash transplants. Hair from the head is removed, and the follicles are placed into the eyelid. The catch? They grow like head hair. Eyelash transplants require upkeep and regular trimming.
#3 Tongue patch surgery
This surgery promises to make you lose weight. After all, how on Earth could you be able to gain weight if your tongue can't stand solid food? You'll be stuck with water and other beverages for awhile with this operation.
#4 Dimpleplasty
You know those dimples some people get when they smile, making them oh-so-adorable? Well, despite the fact that most are actually a facial muscle deformity, people still desire to have them. Dimpleplasty is a cosmetic surgery that involves a surgeon making an incision in the patient's face to give them dimples.
#5 G-spot enhancement surgery
As much as many women would surely love to have this injectable filler, the effect only stays for four months at most. Also, it costs $1,000 and it does not work for every woman.
#6 Palm surgery
Have you ever been to a palm reader to have your fate read? Well, apparently some people in Japan take these things very seriously, and are having their palms surgically altered in an effort to cheat fate.
#7 Six pack surgery
Too lazy to hit the gym? Not to worry, because now there is an easier way to achieve an incredible six pack. Fat is removed from the body, transferred to the chest, and sculpted to look like abs.

If you want to look like your eyes are literally shining with diamonds, this might be for you.
#9 Iris implants
Not so happy with what your momma gave you? Well, for those no longer satisfied with their natural eye color, iris implants are available. Taking it much further than colored contacts, iris implants surgically alter the color of your eyes. Surgeons cut into your cornea and place a silicone implant into your eye. The safety of this surgery isn't quite clear. The surgeon who designed this procedure claims it can actually treat eye problems, while others who have underwent the surgery have been left with negative side effects.

Many people believe that if you can grow a beard, you should. Apparently they make you more attractive. While beauty is in the eye of the beholder, many men still aspire to grow a beard, even though their faces disagree. Rather than accepting this fate and not having to worry about bushy facial hair, they are opting for a hair transplant. Hair is taken from the back of the head, and transplanted into the face.

After all, men with large nipples do not want to be teased and bullied for having such features.

If you somehow thought that your toes should be shorter, you can have this surgery. Through this procedure, you might just be able to wear that shoe you've always wanted to have.
#13 Ears on arms
Performance artist Stelarc had a cell-cultivated ear surgically attached to his forearm. While his is simply a body modification to test his own boundaries, others are growing ears made of rib cartilage onto their arms to replace missing ears, which is pretty incredible.
#14 Ear Pointing
For all the Vulcan and elf fans, a procedure called ear pointing now exists, offering patients the chance to create a tip at the top of their ears. Tissue is removed from the topmost part of the ear so that the two edges may be stitched together, gaining that pointed look.
#15 Umbilicoplasty
Sometimes extra scar tissue forms around the belly button, resulting in an "outie". Other times an outie can be caused by an umbilical hernia. If people are unhappy with their belly buttons, a surgery exists called umbilicoplasty. The extra skin around the belly button is removed, and voila! An outie becomes an innie.
