#1 Frederick Buettner is Accused Of Raping His Own Daughter.

42-year-old Frederick Buettner pleaded to guilty to raping his daughter between the age of 3 to 5. He was sentenced to ten years in prison in 2005 but he was released to a halfway house in East St. Louis in 2013. In July, he removed his electronic leg monitor and fled. Buettner was arrested in St. Louis in 2014. Buettner's wife says her daughter was only five-year-old when she finally told her Buettner had been sexually abusing her for two years.

#2 Jessica Mungia is Accused Of Burning Her Son's Tongue With A Hot Spoon.

26-year-old pregnant mother of three faces multiple charges, accused of severely abusing her six-year-old son. That boy was told to lie about his injuries when his mother took him to the hospital for a broken arm, but when medical personal discovered various injuries and questioned the boy, he broke down with the truth. Investigator said the boy alleged his mother " cut me with a knife", beat him with a "cable", "hit me with a screwdriver" and burned his tongue with a hot spoon. Jessica Ann Mungia has been charge with four courts of felony injury to a child.

#3 This Mother Beat His Son To Death For Failing To Learn Quran.

33 year old Sara Ege treated her 7 year old son yaseen like a dog and repeatedly beaten him with a stick, rolling pin and slipper for failing to memorize the religious text quickly enough. Ege had beaten yaseen on a number of occasions, sometimes so badly he was unable to write and sit down. The beating, often with a wooden pestle, became so bad that on the day he died he was suffering from 'serious abdominal injuries' and 'multiple fractures'

Sara then burnt the body of his son in an attempt to cover up the crime and claim that he died in a house fire. Ege has been jailed for life now.

#4 A Teen Father Allegedly Bit Off His 1-month-old Son's nose.

Joshua cooper has been arrested for bitting off the nose of his one-month-old son. Cooper allegedly savaged his own baby out of frustration at the infant's crying. The baby also had a fractural skull and brain hemorrhage. The disturbed teenage dad was charged with child cruelty and aggravated mayhem.

#5 A Mother Captured On Camera Dragging Her Young Child On A Leash.

A child abuse campaigner saw the photos of young boy has a leash around his neck and a bowl filled with dog food for him to eat. Campaigner Lurleen got in touch with law enforcement in the USA who passed the information on to their Filipino counterparts. Lurleen is the founder of Ireland based Nolonger Victims, an organization which educates people on the various form of abuse and aims to help protect and resume victims. After police were alerted to these pictures the mother was arrested and her child taken into care.
