Groom Pranks Bride By Smashing Wedding Cake In Her Face

A video of a groom piecing his bride in the face with a piece of their wedding cake has caused controversy.

Be prepared to react in one of two ways: through your fingers in horror or in fits of laughter.

There isn't another situation unless a food fight is officially declared, where I would personally put up with having a big wad of cake shoved into my face, especially if I had spent hours applying makeup, and was supposed to be posing for pictures to show the grandkids one day, and was wearing a high - priced wedding dress.

However, one groom felt that his wedding day would be the ideal time to play a practical joke on his spouse.

The bride and groom can be seen in the video having just cut the first slice of their wedding cake, a ceremonial and unique moment that is frequently appreciated at such a ceremony. Marianna De Oliveira posted the video to TikTok.

The photographer arrives, prepared to capture the bride looking magnificent in her immaculate white wedding dress, expertly curled hair, and picture-perfect makeup.

The newlyweds placed some cake on their fingers and lifted them up so they could share a small taste. It was a little disgusting, but you could also call it a sweet and beautiful moment.

What possibly could go wrong?

The groom seizes his chance as the bride licks cake off her husband's finger, lulling him into a false sense of security.

His left hand, which is holding the remaining piece of cake, rises and whips his wife in the face, smearing cake all over her face and ruining her makeup.

The bride is left shocked—but perhaps laughing?—as the groom quickly flees, disappearing from view.

He then returns to allow her to smear cake in his face, possibly out of concern that his marriage might end even sooner than Kim K's if he didn't.

Since then, viewers have rushed to the video to engage in a heated debate over the gesture and whether or not the groom was wrong for breaking the cake.

One user said: "Personally I would get divorced on the same day."

"Makeup, hair, and self-respect are too expensive for any man to do this on a wedding day with witnesses," another wrote.

A third commented: "He needs to grow up."

Another person countered that the act wasn't as gruesome or 'disrespectful' as some had stated.

They said: "Bro she was laughing calm down."

And thankfully, based on Marianna's Instagram, the couple still seems to be content with their marriage. Having said that, no groom should get any ideas.
