#1 Jackass!

MTV's reality show, "Jackass", first premiered in 2000, and it featured people performing crude stunts, pranks, and self-injuring actions. Aside from running on television for several years, the series also spawned four movies, all featuring acts that are so dangerous, there is a disclaimer before each episode and film warning viewers to not attempt anything that they may see on screen. However, several people failed to read or listen to the disclaimer and ended up losing their lives in reenactments of scenes from the show. What people forget to realize is that the people in "Jackass" are professional stunt actors, skaters, etc. This means that they are trained, and they are also being supervised by other professionals and a medical staff on hand to assist should anything go wrong. Also, there's a reason why the show is called, "Jackass."

#2 Adam Ports

18-year-old Adam Ports and three friends decided to create and record their own 'Jackass' style stunt. The four teenagers, all students at Tiffin University in Ohio, hopped into a pickup truck with a wooden chair and headed out into the country. Once there the teens decided to burn the chair and toss it off the speeding truck. However, things went horribly wrong when Adam lost his balance and fell from the back of the moving vehicle and injured his head. He died the following day of head injuries sustained in the accident.

#3 Stephen Paul Rauen

15-year-old Stephen Rauen was killed in December of 2002 when he decided to jump from the hood of a moving car, a stunt he had watched the night before on MTV. The cars driver stepped on the brakes suddenly, throwing Rauen into the air where he landed on the pavement, was hit, run over, and then dragged 200 feet. The Albuquerque, NM police reported that the teens had been arrested previously for attempting to perform Jackass stunts, but apparently they didn't learn their lesson.

#4 Aaron Brown

13-year-old Indiana boy, Aaron Brown and five other teens were imitating stunts that they had seen on Jackass. The six teenagers were speeding in a van at 75mph across railroad tracks. On their third attempt, the driver lost control and they hit another car. Five of the boys were critically injured and sadly, Aaron lost his life. During the investigation, police found cameras and camcorders of the teens trying to copy stunts from the show, as well as an episode of the show itself, in which the cast drives full speed over railroad tracks.

#5 Roberta MacKinnon

Trying to recreate a scene from Jackass, Roberta, 16, and six of her friends met up at a nearby merry-go-round. The object was to get the ride to spin at a very fast speed by tying a rope around the ride and attaching it to a pickup truck. The stunt actually worked for the gang and it was fun until Roberta was sent flying 60 feet and crash landed on the pavement. She later died from her injuries in the hospital.

Cota grabbed the steering wheel and slid into the driver's seat, turning the car around to go back and find that Page was laying in a pool of blood and unresponsive in the middle of the road. Smith pulling him with his car. When the car hit a lot speed bump, the cart did as well, and Bieberle went flying through the air and landed on his head, causing his instant death. Smith was charged with vehicular manslaughter and later sentenced to 4 years in prison and a permanent revocation of his driver;s license. Known as a practical joker and often performing stunts from his favorite TV show Jackass, Evans was riding down a busy street in his friend's car when he decided to get out and stand on the hood of the moving vehicle. As another friend drove up next to them, Evans attempted to belly flop over and land on the car in the next lane. He never regained consciousness and was pronounced dead the following night.

#10 Jason Newton

18-year-old Swedish student Jason Newton decided to dress up as a mummy and play in traffic on a busy highway. The stunt was filmed by one of his friends, who later told police that they were inspired by Jackass. They were supposed to stand on the street and amuse passing cars but Newton ran into the middle of the road and laid down in heavy traffic instead. One car was able to swerve and miss the man but that was quickly over as a second car saw the incident, slammed on his brakes and skidded right over Newton, killing him instantly. The friend later uploaded the prank to YouTube as a 'tribute' to his 'crazy-ass friend'.
