Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song Welcomes Their First Child, Dakota
Huge happy news for our The Suite Life and Home Alone fans, as last week Macaulay Culkin and partner Brenda Song welcomed their first child.
The duo met on a movie set in Thailand a few years, Changeland.
The couple welcomed their child Dakota Song Culkin in Los Angeles.
Dakota, the first child for both actors, is named in honor of Culkin’s sister Dakota, who died in 2008.
The happy parents released a statement after the birth saying: “We’re overjoyed.”
In an interview with Esquire, Song talked about Culkin and said: “You can’t be around him and not be happy.”
Song also shared that when her mother was getting treatment for cancer and she would visit the couple, Culkin would make vegetable soup for her because she is a vegetarian and would also make his signature homemade potato chips for her.
Culkin in his interview with Esquire last year hinted that he is ready to start a family with Song.
Culkin who rose to fame with the Home Alone series is living a comfortable life with Song.
“People assume that I’m crazy, or a kook, or damaged. Weird. Cracked,” he told the magazine. “And up until the last year or two, I haven’t really put myself out there at all. So I can understand that. It’s also like, OK, everybody, stop acting so freaking shocked that I’m relatively well-adjusted.”
"I mean, look at me: I got money, I got fame, I got a beautiful girlfriend and a beautiful house and beautiful animals," he added. "It took me a long time to get to that place, and I had to have that conversation with myself and go, like, Honestly, Mack? It’s not so bad. I want for nothing and need for even less. I’m good, man.”
