Man In His Underpants Fights Off Suspected Boxing Day Thieves In Street Brawl
A gang of men who attempted to break into a home on Boxing Day was confronted by a man who was just wearing his underwear in a suburban street.
Security video shows a man chasing after a gang of men fleeing an attempted robbery early on Monday morning at a residence in Mermaid Waters, on the Gold Coast.
In the footage, two men, one of whom has a shirt over his face to hide it, rush toward two parked automobiles in the street as the vigilante follows them.
The resident, who was only wearing underwear, was able to seize hold of one of the alleged robbers' shirts as he struggled to get away.
A bat was thrown at the vigilante by one of the two would-be thieves as they rushed to help their partner. The vigilante successfully threw the bat away.
Before the group of five criminals are able to get away in the automobiles, the kidnapped robber eventually manages to wriggle free from his shirt and escape from the man.
