Man Shoves 459 Straws Into His Mouth, Sets World Record

So many Guinness World Records are completely unique and outlandish. Manoj Kumar Maharana hails from India and he just broke a Guinness World Records title that reigned supreme for eight years.

The 23 year old broke the official record of Most Straws Stuffed In The Mouth by packing 459 drinking straws into his mouth at one time. The Guinness World Records uploaded a video last week of Maharana actually filling his mouth with the insane amount of straws.

Manoj Kumar Maharana has been working hard to really accomplish something while the rest of us have just been sitting on our butts in front of the computer: breaking a Guinness World Record.

To properly break the record Maharana had to make sure the straws stayed in his mouth for 10 seconds without falling out. He was not able to use his hands as support during the 10 seconds but he was able to use rubber bands to hold the straws in place.

Maharana took the record from Simon Elmore who was only able to stuff 400 straws in his mouth.

He was able to withstand the attempt without any straws falling from his mouth which makes him the new title holder for the "Most Straws Stuffed In The Mouth". This record had remained unbroken since 2009.

He even had all of his teeth removed so that he could fit more straws into his mouth, according to local media.
