The mother refused and rushed her daughter to the gates of the school in Sheffield. The two were terrified by the ordeal and made a run for it.

They offered further details in a statement, “A male, of possible Middle Eastern origin, along with two other males, have approached the mother, taken out a large amount of money and offered to buy the daughter.”

Unfortunately, this is not the only time something like this has happened with a similar incident occurring in South Yorkshire and Doncaster.

The group of men from South Yorkshire is suspected to have followed the mother-daughter duo around as they shopped before they offered the mother a “good price” for the young one.

The South Yorkshire department however doesn’t think there’s a link between the two incidents.

Similar to the Sheffield incident, the police was unable to grab their license plate and said, "Unfortunately no number was got for the vehicle."

"The male offering to buy the daughter was in his late 30s/early 40s wearing a grey hoody with stripes down the side. He was also wearing dirty navy bottoms and a head warmer partially covering his face."

"Any further sightings of the suspected male should be reported to police as soon as possible allowing officers to attend. 8153."
