The explosive image appears to show Chloe, 20, and suspect Lukasz Herba wearing matching outfits while strolling through the streets of Turin last year. Polish-born Herba is accused of drugging the 20-year-old with ketamine when she turned up for a bogus photoshoot last July, holding her captive for six days and threatening to sell her to a sex trafficking gang.

An elderly neighbour who gave his name as Attilio in the tiny hamlet where the model was allegedly held for six days told he saw her out walking with her alleged kidnapper.

Chloe Ayling's alleged kidnapper told the terrified model that everyone she saw was in the Black Death group as the pair held hands in Turin, her lawyer claims. Francesco Pesce, who is representing the Brit model, spoke before the trial of suspect Lukas Herba and slammed clickbait claims her alleged kidnapping was a "stunt". Polish national Lukasz Herba has claimed the 20 year old glamour model agreed to be kidnapped as part of a publicity stunt to boost her career. But her lawyer said the CCTV footage of the pair was misleading and Ayling was terrified.

Lawyer said,"She was terrified after Herba told her everyone they saw was a member of the group and would kill her if she didn't play nice. There was also an element of grooming mixed with the threats. In the video you can see her holding her other hand across her chest, as if protecting herself. This is not a loving couple."

Brit model Chloe was allegedly kidnapped as part of a £250,000 ransom plot. She had also been handcuffed and threatened but according to investigators this was all part of a plot by the brothers to make one of them appear good so she would not complain. The court heard how Herba portrayed himself as a "mythomaniac adventurer" who claimed to have kidnapped and killed before in Afghanistan and Iraq. In the email he sent to Chloe’s agent he attached pictures of her lying semi naked on the floor in an unconscious state.

He then allegedly received an email from Herba,"I am MD a medium level killer representing Black Death. The girl has been taken and she will be auctioned online in the Middle East.”

As the email was read out Polish-born Lukas, who claims the plot was a publicity stunt, shook his head several times as the interpreter translated it for him.

The house where Ayling was held captive is sandwiched between two other homes, which the resident who gave his name as Attilio, said would have been occupied. Speaking for the first time, the 80-year-old cast doubt on her claim that she was unable to escape as he said there would have been many people she could have alerted. The only full time resident of the isolated hamlet of Borgial said there would have been at least a dozen other people in the village when she claimed she was held against her will by Lukasz Herba. Attilio said he also remembered seeing two cars outside the rented property – a Mercedes with a British registration plate and a Volvo with a Polish number plate.

Attilio said,"They were together out walking, but not holding hands. One was much older than the other. There are not many people round here and I remember them."

CCTV footage shows Miss Ayling and her alleged kidnapper walking into the British consulate last year when she was handed over to officials after her ordeal. Attilio, who gave a statement to police after Herba's arrest, said he did not believe the model's story of being kidnapped.

He said,"I have followed what has happened and do not believe everything she has said. There are things that are wrong and do not make sense."

Polish national Herba is facing up to 25 years in jail after going on trial in Milan for allegedly kidnapping the glamour model. A court in Milan heard that he meticulously planned the kidnapping, being balaclavas and a big black canvas bag which the model was bundled into after being lured to a fake photo shoot in Milan.

She flew to the French capital but the assignment was cancelled at the last minute by Herba who was allegedly using a bogus name saying his camera gear had been stolen. Police say this was the start of the kidnap planning and a month later Herba bought two balaclavas online as well as a fake ID for him and his brother Michal. CCTV footage of the pair walking hand in hand in a town near where she was held for six days emerged at the trial in Milan. Doubts about Ayling's claim to have been kidnapped surfaced after it was revealed she failed to raise the alarm when visiting the town. She was apart from Herba but did not make any attempt to scream or ask a shopkeeper to call the police.

Court documents show that Chloe Ayling made friends with her alleged kidnapper in 2015 - two years before she was abducted. Court documents shows in April 2015 Miss Ayling sent her alleged kidnapper two messages.

It has been reported that users of the "dark web" pay huge fees to buy women who have been kidnapped from across Europe. A 2015 article by Vice’s Motherboard stated their reporter had found images of women chained up with the victim being offered for sale for £115,000. Lukasz Herba was arrested on July 17 after delivering Chloe to the British consulate in Milan. She says he took pity on her after she told him she had a two-year-old son.
