Model Hated Her Big Forehead So Much She Actually Underwent Surgery To Reduce Its Size

Tiktok has turned out to be a comfortable place for all those who are insecure about certain parts of their bodies

Every now and then, we see Tiktokers sharing tips and tricks on how to make a certain part of your body look a certain way. It has even become a safe place for self-proclaimed "fiveheads" who share beauty hacks on how to make their big foreheads look smaller.

Here it shows a woman teaching her followers how to contour their hairline with root touchup spray. 

But one model on Tiktok has made every other forehead content fail by actually going through a whole surgery to reduce the size of her forehead

Her video discussing the details about the head reduction surgery has gone viral for many people didn't even know such surgery exists. 

Camilla Coleman Brooks, 26, is a model from North Carolina who has shocked the internet after she underwent surgery that reduced the size of her forehead. The model revealed how she hated her forehead and was uncomfortable with its size.

"I was always kind of uncomfortable with the size of my forehead in proportion to my face. I just kind of thought it was too big for me personally," Camilla told BuzzFeed.

The model told Buzzfeed she thought she looked bald whenever she had her hair back

She always wore bangs but still wasn't happy with the size of her forehead. She knew what she wanted and did research on it for years. Finally, she came to the conclusion to get forehead reduction surgery done.

The surgery was done at the end of February

Camilla kept sharing her journey through her Tiktok and Instagram. 

"They make an incision right at your hairline, and then they have to lift up your scalp a bit and how far they can move it depends on the elasticity of your skin," Camilla said. "They make another incision where they see how far down they can pull your scalp, and then they cut out the middle part and they stitch it back together."

"I think people thought I was shaving down my skull or something because they were like, 'How do you change the size of your forehead?'" she said. "Overall, it's not a super-invasive surgery, it’s just moving some skin around."

Many people didn't see much of a difference but Camilla is very happy with her new looks. She told the surgeon managed to shorten her forehead by three centimeters.

The model is loving her new looks but that doesn't mean she didn't receive backlash

She even explained the viewers don't see much of a difference because her head is shaved past her new hairline, which is right in front of her scar.

People complained to Camilla that she doesn't love herself.

"Some people say, 'You don’t love yourself,'" she said. "I think you can still have insecurities and change yourself on the outside, while still loving yourself on the inside."

"I didn’t do it to make anyone else feel self-conscious about it," she added.

"Especially when people are like, 'Wow, I’m just noticing my forehead is big, should I get this done?' I’m like, hell no, you’re just noticing this, it isn’t an actual issue."
