Police were initially called to Trisha Meyer's home in Houston, Texas after she allegedly scammed a California man who had tried to buy a Savannah kitten from her for $3,000. However, authorities never anticipated the wild surprise they would find behind her front door.

Meyer was arrested after police discovered three tigers, a cougar, a skunk, a fox, and several monkeys wandering freely throughout her home. The dangerous animals were completely uncontrolled within the confines of Meyer's home and her 14-year-old daughter was found petting some of them.

Not only did Trisha admit to police that the animals could be dangerous, the 34-year-old revealed that some of the monkeys were ‘vicious' and one had even previously attacked people.

Police found that Meyer had the correct permits for the tigers, but didn't for the skunks and foxes that were also residing in her leased home.

Meyer's animals were all confiscated and taken to Houston's BARC Animal Shelter and Adoptions.
