Fries are supposed to come with salt, not this. This mother is furious!
Mom Finds Horrid Surprise On Four-year-old's Wendy Fries!
#1 Eating on the run
Dezeray Risner stopped to get food for her two kids at a Wendy's in Huber Heights, Ohio, just outside Dayton. After they started eating, her 4-year-old began to complain her fries tasting bad.
#2 What they found...
When her young daughter spit out the food, Risner said she saw what looked like marijuana.
"I had to scrape it off her tongue and she had some stuck in her teeth from where she was chewing on it," she said, according to the station.
Risner told her daughter the food was just burned. She then immediately went back to Wendys and spoke with the manager.
#3 Risner had this to say about the conversation with Wendy's manager on her Facebook page.
"I need y'alls help to get the word out!! Today around 5p after I picked the girls up from Daycare I stopped at the Wendy's on Brandt Pike in Huber Heights and got the girls some food. Fast forward like 15 minutes, I'm driving on 70 headed to Adriennes' cheerleading class and she starts yelling that her food is nasty. So I reach my arm back and tell her to spit it in my hand. She did and I look at it, there is MARIJUANA in her French fries!! Not only marijuana, but a cigarillo wrap too!! My FOUR YEAR OLD CHILD WAS CHEWING ON SOMEONES BLUNT! You can see and smell plain as day that this is in fact weed in my babies food! I'm livid, so I call Wendy's and ask to speak to the Manager. "Megan" answers and says she's the manager. After telling her what I found, she laughed and told me to "bring it in and we can determine if it needs to be taken to the general manager". Are you kidding me?! I've filed a report with the police department. I'm going to the top with this!!"
#4 The police were dispatched to the fast food joint.
According to the police report, a Huber Heights officer opened the bag and saw green leafy vegetation mixed with the fries and could smell the strong odor of marijuana from the fries. The officer then went to Wendy's and spoke with the shift manager and three employees. Two of the employees admitted that they do smoke marijuana, and after a consent search, none was found on either one of them.
As there are no video camera's over the food prep stations, there are currently no suspects. Local officers say it is unlikely that they will be able to prove the marijuana came from the Wendy's, but the investigation is ongoing.
#5 Of course, Wendy's has issued a statement on the matter.
"Please know all of our customers as well as the quality and integrity of our food are a top priority at Wendy's and we are taking this very seriously. We are currently conducting a thorough internal investigation and the Human Resource and Legal departments are both fully cooperating with police in their investigation. We will get to the bottom of this issue as soon as possible. It is as important to us as it is to the community."
Risner leaves everyone with this "I shouldn't have to check my child's food for drugs. That wasn't professional at all. My biggest issue right now is to acknowledge it. Apologize. And if it has to go farther, than it will go farther, but that's not my concern right now."
