#1 Being A Parent Of Little Ones, You Have To Watch Out Every Move Of Your Kids

Parenting is never easy. Being a parent you have to watch out every little move of your child to ensure their safety. Especially if you are parents to twins, the job then becomes more difficult. Something similar to this happened to Alison Johnson, who set up cribs in her twin babies Caleb and Libby's room. Alison never realized that the arrangement was so dangerous that her babies could have hanged themselves unknowingly. Absolutely shocked by the incident, Allison took to social media to warn parents and prevent any sort of incident like this.

#3 Had She Been Any Late, Her Baby Could Have Hanged Himself To Death

Alison says shortly after leaving her son, she came back to check up on him and was horrified to see her son in such a position that had she been any late, her baby would have been left hanging from the crib. "After a few minutes, I went in to check on him. He had climbed out of his crib and was stuck between his crib and Libby’s crib. His body fit through, but his head wouldn’t. He was using every ounce of energy he had to hold himself up by his little arms. If they had given out, he would’ve just been hanging there by his head."

#4 Never In Million Years She Would Have Imagined This

Alison says never in million years she would have considered the setup as potentially dangerous, she added, "What’s even more scary is that like many moms, generally use nap time as an opportunity to shower. Had I done that today and checked on him after five minutes, he would have literally hung himself. When baby proofing, I never in a million years would have seen this as a potential danger."

Alison now wants everyone to share the post as much as possible, "Please consider sharing this post in case someone you know may have a similar setup. It’s incredibly heartbreaking to think of what the outcome could have been today. I’m still totally shook up over it and don’t think the vision of him stuck there will ever leave my head."

Alison talking to a social media page said that what she found most disturbing is the fact that all over the Internet including Pinterest this crib setup is the most famous and most common. "If you search on Google or Pinterest, almost all the inspiration photos are set up the way we had it with no warning. Even when researching about baby proofing, nothing is mentioned about this."

Alison says that she is so happy that after putting up the post she received messages from mothers of twins saying that after reading the post they have immeditaly changed the setup and that they are thankfyl to her for warning about this. Alison claims that as long as she was ale to warn the parents, she believes she has saved one life and this is what makes her the most happy. "I literally received 100’s of messages from other twin moms thanking me because they had their nursery set up the same exact way and have since changed it. I feel 100% that by sharing our story we have saved a life, that’s all that really matters."

#6 She Never Knew That She Will Get Such An Overwhelming Response Over Her Single Post

In her post, Alison also warned parents of one baby about possible setups, that may be possibly dangerous. She said, "Even moms with one baby should be careful because you often see a dresser or a changing table nearby. It wouldn’t even have to be two cribs. We had already lowered his mattress as far as it goes and he hadn’t been able to climb out up until that point."

Alison says she never expected such an overwhelming response over the single post and she is glad that she was able to guide people right and help them, "It’s worth the few negative comments if we possibly saved a life with this warning. Honestly, it was traumatizing to have that image stuck in my head."
